Volvo is tweaking its sportiest car, the C70. Fresh for the 2010 model year, the Swedes will facelift the C70 with Volvo's new corporate nose job, a range of exterior changes and numerous detailed spec changes.Did you know the C70 was the world's first four-seater CC with a folding hard top? We'd rather forgotten.
Chrysler may develop a unibody small pickup positioned below the Dakota, whose production will end in 2011. "We're thinking of something that will separate itself from the full-sized truck more than what happens today, both in capability, price and size," said Joe Veltri, Chrysler Group vice president of product planning. "The Ram brand has room to expand into a compact-truck segment."
Veltri, interviewed this month at the National Truck Equipment Association's Work Truck Show in St.
Kia isn't giving much away about its Frankfurt-bound concept car, indeed it hasn't even released its name yet, referring to it as the 'four-door sports sedan concept.' The press release talks of it as 'signalling a distinctive new design direction' for the Korean brand, yet the now-familiar 'tiger-nose' grille and Optima-esque A-pillar/cant rail/C-pillar highlight are very much in evidence. "No matter from which perspective you look at it - this concept car is roaring with energy and ready for take-off," says Peter Schreyer, Kia Motors Chief Design Officer."I believe the car is a strong statement from Kia: we are ready to fast forward to an all new chapter."
